How to see who someone recently followed on Instagram
There is no button in Instagram for “what did they follow lately”. Three steps here get you there, without installing anything or handing over a password.
How it works
- Copy their username
In the Instagram app, open the profile and copy the name at the top, or share the profile link.
- Paste it here
Put it in the box above. A link to the profile works as well as a plain username.
- Read the top of the list
The first rows are the most recent follows, with a note of when the list was checked.

Can I do this inside the Instagram app?
The app shows who someone follows, but mixes the order and does not mark what is new. That is what this page is for.
Will the person find out?
No. We do not use an Instagram account to look, so there is nothing for them to see.
What if the account is private?
Then its list is hidden from everyone outside its followers, here too.
